Last weekend at the velodrome in Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, Ile-de-France, Raphaël Beaugillet and his pilot François Pervis were crowned French champions in the sprint, pursuit and 1 km disciplines after over a year without competing.
In March 2020, the pair decided to join forces to take part in the Tokyo Paralympics this summer. By combining their passion and their experience, Raphaël and François are aiming for gold at Tokyo.
New arrivals in Team Engie, François, seven-times world champion in track cycling, and Raphaël, who has won 22 French championship titles, train every day to achieve their dream of a gold medal this summer. Which would be a first for the tandem in the entire history of French para track cycling!
