After her first Olympics in Rio in 2016, Team ENGIE triathlete Cassandre Beaugrand will take part in her second Olympic Games in Tokyo this summer. The French athlete, who will celebrate her 24th birthday on Sunday 23 May, is delighted!
After a victorious return to competition in the first round of the Melilla European Cup this year's first international competition, the mixed relay world champion took 10th place in the 1st stage of the World Triathlon Series (WTS) in Yokohama, Japan on 15 May. Her fine performance won Cassandre valuable points and a ticket to Tokyo. Well done Cassandre!
Cassandre joins the other Team ENGIE members who have officially qualified to date: Luka Mkheidze (Judo), Madeleine Malonga (Judo), Fabien Lamirault (Para Table tennis), François Pervis and Raphaël Beaugillet (para-cycling tandem).
We'll be supporting Cassandre as she takes part in this global event on 27 and 31 July!
Team ENGIE: sharing our energy!
