ENGIE integrated report

The 2024 edition of the ENGIE Group's integrated report presents the deployment of its strategy for the transition to Net Zero Carbon in 2045, which also aims to respect Nature and people, while being affordable for all.

In addition to the essential elements of the report, such as the business model, the list of objectives and commitments, its contribution to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and the dialogue with stakeholders, this edition includes several new features:

  • The publication of Moody's ESG assessment of ENGIE's decarbonization trajectory;
  • The Group's new commitment to using a minimum of dedicated crops for its biomethane production;
  • The results of the analysis of the socio-economic footprint of the Group and its businesses;
  • The first results of the double materiality analysis of ESG issues;
  • Four interviews illustrating our dialogue with stakeholders;
  • Performance indicators to support the just transition plan.

To go further and prepare the future sustainability report in application of the European CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive), this integrated report is supplemented by four thematic note-books:

  • The Climate-TCFD note-book, which responds to the Task Force on Climate Related Financial Disclosures recommendations on financial transparency, and provides an update on ENGIE's objectives, levers and progress in its decarbonization trajectory;
  • The Nature note-book, an extended version of the previous Biodiversity note-book, which covers all aspects of nature: biodiversity, water and oceans, air pollution and the circular economy;
  • The Social/Societal note-book, which lists the Group's policies end action plans aimed at all its internal and external stakeholders, not just Group employees;
  • The Low carbon technologies note-book, which extends the previous note-book on Renewable gases to the main low carbon technologies implemented by the Group.
